How do I submit my sitemap?

Upload sitemap.xml to your domain root, reference it from robots.txt, then submit the URL in Google Search Console (Sitemaps section) and Bing Webmaster Tools.

How many URLs can a sitemap hold?

The sitemap protocol allows 50,000 URLs or 50 MB uncompressed per file. This tool caps at 1,000 per file — split larger sites into multiple sitemaps with an index.
