Frequently asked questions
Component vs full-URI encoding?
Component mode escapes everything meaningful (&, =, ?) for embedding values inside a query string. Full-URI mode preserves structural characters so a whole URL stays navigable.
Why does + sometimes mean space?
In application/x-www-form-urlencoded (classic form submissions), space becomes +. Decode mode offers a toggle to interpret + as space when needed.
Anything sent to servers?
No — encoding happens locally, appropriate even for tokens in redirect URIs.
